I am spiritual. That is, I believe that this universe is more than the physical matter on which we walk, sit and communicate. We are more than our corporeal bodies; we have ideas, feelings and hopes that we want to share with others both in business and our personal lives.
If your communications seem to be falling flat and missing the mark, it may be in part due to a missing component. Impactful messages do more than provide information; they connect with the incorporeal aspects of your audience.
I bring “Spirited Communications” to my clients. Spirited is defined as “full of energy, animation, or courage.” It takes skill and forethought to develop communications that have the appropriate mix of energy, information and measurable results. I’ve seen firsthand how courage is hard to muster in corporations because the “easier, softer way” is to rely on outdated methods.
As my colleagues attest, I make a persuasive case for communication excellence, while maintaining the dignity and engagement of management and employees. That can be a difficult line to walk.
Here’s a little of my professional background: I began my career decades ago as a newspaper reporter, and since then gained experience in corporate and marketing communications, public relations, trade magazine publishing and other roles centered around communication.
I’m an Accredited Business Communicator (ABC) through the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) and a Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM).
Enough about the past. If you are ready to discuss how your company can benefit today or in the near future from “spirited communications,” here’s how to contact me:
